"I was a little underwhelmed when I tried the Banshee outside with my wife for whom I bought it. Give the description of how loud it was, I expected more. Having said that, the surprise factor if it ever needed to be used should distract a potential attacker and putting it up near their ear would also be beneficial. I have purchased a 2nd unit for my adult daughter as it will at least be something to help out."

I set it off in my car with my stereo cranked and you could just about hear it . But overall I'm not disappointed in the item for the cost it's absolutely worth buying one 100%"
